Edit 09/29/11 - Sorry about adding the obnoxiously huge watermark, but I have had a problem recently with people stealing the images from this series and posting them online without credits. That's what happens when you steal. :hmm:

Featuring Meaghan Monster :iconmeaghan-monster: of OpenWound FX. Model and makeup artist.

We both had wanted to meet and do a shoot together for a long time, so it was awesome to finally get to work together. She is an absolutely beautiful and talented person and I hope I get a chance to work with her again someday.

We shot this in a tunnel thing.. not sure what you call it. I had limited light and not a lot of control over the environment, but we both felt it worked well for the concept.

I just noticed that this got a DD, quite a shock! Thank you so much Kay aka ^pullingcandy

An absolutely brilliant piece, definitive with the makeup work on the legs, haunting and ethereal and just downright gorgeous. `PorcelainPoet never fails to please the crowd, and with this work she steps it up a notch by framing the excellent legs with the best possible lighting for the shot.

Just out of curiosity, I may not use it for any purpose, meaning, I can't save it and use it as a PC background?

In a perfect world, I'd rather not have my work used for free like that.
But in all honesty, I think every single person on the internet does that with art work.
I've done it in the past (but of course not done anything else with it).

If you promise to only use it for you personally, on your desktop.. with the watermark still on it, unchanged.
And as long as you don't print it or do anything else with it - then I can't stop you. Thank you for asking.

Perfect angle, model, background, & lighting. You really captured the mystery of her pretty well.

the only reason i cant look at this is because that isnt real. it's weird. i can look at dead bodies perfectly fine. but i can't look at dead bodies.

Sorry, but your sentence didn't make any sense. You can look at dead bodies, but you can't look at dead bodies?

lol sorry i for got words.
I can look at real dead bodies but i can not look at fake ones because they make me sick. when i saw pictures of mary jane kelly and continued to eat my sandwich

I can actually look at real dead bodies and fake dead bodies and neither bothers me.
But I am able to differentiate between the two on a mental level. I have looked through crime scene photos, including images of freak accidents and horrific murders and it doesn't bother me. And I love horror and gore movies. For me though there's a line between fiction and reality and real life death must be treated with respect. ;)
