Some people demand a description on these types of photos. Initially I didn't want to put one. But I'll briefly say, the beginning concept was the models. We then both developed it into what you see here. She had the needles which you see on her neck (she'd gotten them from a veterinary place) and I had the syringe. The neck was her idea and from there I progressed by adding the syringe idea. I told her to make it look like she was injecting her lip and I had her put gloss on her eyes and lips to give herself an extra plastic look. The end result became a reflection of plastic surgery and our materialistic society, where everything is all about how to be beautiful.. and you are always told you'll never be good enough.  I would never of gotten the concept behind this. I would of thought more along the lines of drug usage. Obviously you can see where my mind is. Thanks for sharing where you got the needles! that was my first thought in my head!!

 This is beautiful.-- { and the rivers of blood pushed back in my veins. }  Really brilliant way of handling this concept. It's one I'm currently working on myself and I think this is a really strong image. I hate needles so it feels kind of weird looking at it but very well done!
