| I am one of the Gallery Directors for General Photography, along with ^zerocomplex. For those of you who don't know what that means, we look after the Photography galleries. We feature photos as Daily Deviations, we take in feedback from the community and we get to share that feedback with the staff so that they can better improve things on the site. I am a Volunteer and I do not get paid to do this, which is a very common misconception that people have. I do it because I love photography and want to help the art community. I have been doing photography for 5 years as a hobby (and occasionally a freelance job). I'm a very dark artist at heart. Don't be surprised if something in my gallery ends up bothering you. That just means my art is doing it's job. I didn't go to school for this and I don't often get paid for it. But there's always been a connection between me and that little camera box. DD suggestion guidelines are located below. Please remember I cannot respond to every note I get, as I do get quite a lot. But I appreciate every suggestion you take the time to send me.  I can only feature Photography, nothing else! Send a note with the subject line - "DD Suggestion", in your note include a thumbnail of the image and your reason for suggesting it. Please do not send me more than 1 note at a time. If you have multiple suggestions, include them in the same note. Only deviants who have not had a DD in the last 3 months are eligible for consideration. (It's unlikely I will feature a person if their photo has 1,000 favorites already or if they have already received up to 5 DD's). Self Suggests are welcome, but don't assume they'll always be accepted.  If you want an easier option, install the addon SuggestDD for Firefox. I cannot reply to everyone. If your suggestion is not chosen, please don't be offended.  There are other Photography GM's who specialize in specific Photography genres. If there is already a GM for the gallery from which the image you are sending me is from, I will forward your suggestion to them. If you're aware of this please do me a favor by sending DD suggestions to the appropriate GM's.
